The Bryant team comprises of talented and experienced individuals who are specialists in their respective fields of project management, financial analysis and reporting, HSEQ, contractual and regulatory compliance, value engineering, and logistics.
The management team collaborates on all projects, providing our clients with the benefit of their combined expertise.
The Bryant team is led by five highly experienced and capable directors, including CEO and company founder, Max Bryant.
MAX BRYANT
Founding Director
Max has over 40 years’ experience in the building industry predominantly in North Queensland. His main areas of expertise are in the design and construction of major developments, including prefabricated and modular housing, and project management. Max has excellent industry networks and applies his many years of experience to ensure the success of each project executed by the company.
LORRAINE GRANT
Managing Director
Lorraine is a highly skilled and qualified Chief Financial Officer who has worked in the building industry since leaving school. She joined Bryant in 2004 as a fully qualified accountant. At that time, Bryant was a small building firm with six employees, operating in regional and remote Far North Queensland. Today, Bryant employs approximately 100 staff across Queensland and has 5 regional offices. Lorraine has been at the forefront of this growth starting as office/financial manager, rising through the ranks to become CFO and a Director in 2010.
CHRIS BRYANT
Director
Chris has worked across Bryant in a variety of positions since 2008 including Project Manager, Design Manager and HSEQ Adviser. As the Bryant brand has grown, Chris has been the driving force behind the development and implementation of Bryant’s Integrated Management System (IMS). In 2017, Chris moved from Cairns to the Brisbane office as Director of Operations Queensland, due to the increased workload in SEQ and the overall growth of the company. Following this, he also became Construction Manager with an overarching management responsibility for all contracts and Project Managers.
Dan Fragg
Director
Dan is a motivated construction professional with over 25 years’ experience in the industry in Queensland, the UK and Sydney. Initially working for two construction companies in Sydney as a carpenter/foreman and subsequently a director, he then spent 12 months in the UK working for a major construction and logistics firm with a £62m annual turnover. He returned to Australia in 2009 and joined Bryant in Cairns in 2013, becoming a director in 2022. He is also Bryant’s North Queensland Construction Manager with an overarching responsibility for all contracts and project delivery.
Ben Grant
Director
Ben is a qualified solicitor and has over ten years’ experience negotiating, advising on, and administering construction contracts. He has practised as a solicitor in Australia and the UK and spent time as an Associate in the Supreme Court of Queensland. He started his career as a Contracts Administrator with Bryant in 2010, negotiating contracts with subcontractors and suppliers. In 2022, he returned to the construction industry as Commercial Manager, managing all commercial and legal matters for Bryant across the company. Ben became a Director of Bryant in 2025
