“Tara Shire State College had Bryant Building Contractors complete major infrastructure works, with the demolishing of the old B Block and subsequent building of the new B Block and Engineering Building. The scope of work included the floor refurbishment of the N Block (Industrial Design & Technology Building) and outfitting with new state of the art equipment in these spaces. The proactive partnership developed between Bryant Building and onsite builders added value to our students learning, as they provided real life learning experiences through site visits by students and staff. Futhermore, the timely meetings involving relevant school staff enabled open communication throughout the whole process. The College staff were consulted at every step of the process, creating a strong partnership which enabled the College to maximise the budget at every stage of the project. This state-of-the-art learning space was completed within the set timeframes which is an added bonus given the current labour shortages and building supply difficulties. “Bryant Building Contractors have recently delivered an 8 room, multi-storey Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics facility at our College, that links with and matches perfectly with an existing facility. Bryant have been extremely accommodating in all phases of this construction, resulting in a first-class facility with staff room, science laboratory and prep room, 3 GLA classrooms, engineering room, a flexi space with glass bi-folds on both sides to take advantage of the breezeway and views over the College oval and numerous meeting/tutorial rooms and storage spaces. The plentiful space under the building has created a cool lunch space and significantly increased student access to play spaces. In addition, Bryant upgraded a number of defects in the adjoining building which they did not build. The result in that space is impressive with fixed glass and louvres on both ends of the building, resolving weather issues and improving the overall aesthetics of the building. Project Manager, Brendan Ward provided expert knowledge, innovative thinking and a solutions based approach which helped achieve the best outcome possible. The Bryant team have delivered exactly what the College was looking for, on time and on budget. We have enjoyed working in partnership with Bryant, and have no hesitation in recommending them for future projects at Kawana Waters State College and beyond .”

“Bryant Building Contractors delivered a transformative project for our school community that encompasses 3 separable portions covering the construction and refurbishment of 7 buildings — 3 new, 3 existing and an infill. The project team were faced with the inevitable challenges of constructing a project of this scale within a live school environment. “Bryant has just completed substantial demolition and refurbishment works within the centre of MacGregor State School. As Principal, I have been closely involved from project conception, through construction to completion. Working with Bryant has been an excellent experience for our school community. Our Business Manager and I were able to work effectively with  Site Manager, Phil Cooper, to minimise the construction disruption on our regular school activities. Phil always kept us well informed and was readily available at all times to respond to any issues that arose.  With a project this size, unforeseen issues are inevitable in a large, busy school.
