This project, of ten houses in Kubin Village on Moa Island, was logistically challenging. Nine of the ten houses were constructed in Cairns and then transported to Moa Island via barge, together with all materials and equipment. The tenth house was delivered to Kubin in kit form and constructed entirely on site.
Bryant designed the dwellings, set up a site camp for all personnel for the duration of the construction program and delivered the project on time and on budget. As importantly, it employed nine local residents to work on the project and paid for their training, accommodation and support while in Cairns.
