Bryant delivered a covered walkway project for St Joseph’s School. Located in Cairns, St Josephs is a Catholic Education School for Prep to year 6, situated in the inner-city precinct of Parramatta Park. The school was founded in 1927 by the Sisters of Mercy and over the years has had a number of modifications with buildings and modernized improvements.
The purpose of the covered walkways was to link the buildings to provide protection for students and staff walking between locations keeping them protected from the elements of inclement weather and enabling pedestrians to move between buildings in a more comfortable manner. The walkways also provide a path in and around the school to the different locations and assist in defining different zones of the school.
