An extensive refurbishment of the existing sports complex was required to keep this building as the Number 1 asset to the local community. Demolition and reconstruction of most of this facility was required due to a well-used 40 years in this harsh marine environment. Project programing and logistics for remote area construction was the key to bringing this project in on schedule. Working closely with the community, listening and being flexible were paramount in successfully completing this project for the Torres Shire Council.
