Bryant’s Sunshine Coast office recently managed and delivered a new multi-purpose Sports Centre under a Design and Construct (D&C) contract for Urangan State High School, near Maryborough. The centre boasts two sports courts, a stage and auditorium, changing rooms, staff rooms, and facilities, including, Kinesiology, HOD office, kitchenette/kiosk as well as an external courtyard, walkways and parking.
The team faced a range of challenges such as latent conditions and continuous upgrades to services, but still delivered the project within the deadline by effectively managing the design changes and mitigating the risks to programming. The school is very happy with its much needed Sports Centre.
